2009 Breakdown
Colin had a pretty solid rookie year in limted time. He hit 3 HR's,
drove in 23 runs on only 22 hits. Although his average was not that high at .214, he walked 21 times putting himself on base just
over 40% of his plate appearances. Colin only made 1 relief appearance getting a No Decision. He pitched 3 inning
and struck out 2 and walked none. In the field Colin was a pretty consistant and solid fielder.
2009 High Point
Hitting his 1st HRL HR.
2009 Low Point
In his only relief appearance he gave up 9 runs in 3 innings of work.
Playoff Chase
Did not pitch.
2010 Outlook Look
Look for Colin to come into this year with great potential. First thing
is to hope that we see him atleast 1-2 times a week. He has great enthusiasm for the game and can be a decent hitter
if he can make a little more contact. If he manages to get the bat on the bat on ball more cosistantly he should see a 50-60
point swing in his average. He should hit .255-.280 this year with 10-15 HR's. He should only impriove on a solid defensive
game, Maybe even make soemof those "Impossible Plays." On the mound i hope to see him come and pitch this year. Then we can
get a better idea of what type of pitcher he may or may not be. He says he is going to make a bid for a playoff
spot this year. If he pitches, look for 2-5 wins.
